The National Distribution Solution (NDS) is an alliance of 10 independent owner-run FMCG sales and distribution businesses servicing the forecourt and general trade channels throughout South Africa (7800 customers).
Our aim is to provide stores a wide range of products from various food, snack, beverage, home care, and personal care manufacturers, and offer stores a “one-stop” product supply solution. Product range available may vary by region.
Forecourts do not have much storage space and most stock is kept on the shelf, so sales representatives call regularly, and in the major metropolitan areas stock is delivered next day, thereby ensuring stock on-shelf and sales for both the supplier and our customers!
Where possible, distributors also sell in smaller pack sizes (6-pack/shrink/display unit) to accommodate all customer requirements and help manufacturers achieve numeric distribution.
Distributors all have extensive sales and distribution experience within their region, are service orientated, have a customer centric philosophy, customers and suppliers have direct access to senior management and owner, and since inception the NDS group has more than doubled in sales.
